Fair Oaks Lincoln

J.D. Power 2024 Dealer of Excellence - Platinum 4 Years

Serving Aurora, Illinois

Lincoln dealer near Aurora — it depends which end

Aurora is the second-largest city in Illinois and it doesn't have a Lincoln dealer. We're the nearest one for most of it — 1564 West Ogden Avenue in Naperville, on the same road that runs through Aurora.

How far that is depends enormously on where you start. From the Route 59 corridor it's about twelve minutes. From downtown by the Paramount it's closer to twenty. Worth knowing before you assume it's a trek.

Getting Here

Aurora is bigger than people think

The city runs across four counties and about fifteen miles end to end. A shopper on the Route 59 side is closer to us than they are to their own downtown.

  1. Route 59Ogden Avenue east. From the Fox Valley corridor you're roughly five miles out. Ogden east and you're here in about twelve minutes — quicker than the drive into central Aurora.
  2. DowntownNew York Street to Ogden. From the Paramount and the Transportation Center, east on New York Street, which becomes Ogden Avenue. Around twenty minutes without traffic.
  3. Far east sideI-88 east. From the Eola and Farnsworth side, I-88 east to Naperville Road, then south. The fastest option at rush hour from anywhere north of Ogden.

Times are without traffic. The Route 59 junction at Ogden is the one that slows everything down, in both directions.

The Part That Matters Most

Where the county line sits

Lincoln Pickup & Delivery — a trained driver collects your vehicle, leaves a loaner, returns it after service — covers much of DuPage County. Aurora is mostly Kane County, and the far east side of the city crosses into DuPage.

So the answer genuinely varies by address, and it can differ between two houses a few streets apart. Call with yours and we'll tell you which side of the line you're on rather than leaving you to discover it at booking.

If you're outside it, the drive is short from the eastern half of the city anyway, and the service lane opens at 7:00 AM Monday through Saturday. How Pickup & Delivery works · Mobile service is worth asking about too.

Four Counties, One City

Your address decides your tax bill

Aurora sits across Kane, DuPage, Will and Kendall counties. Illinois assesses vehicle tax on where the buyer lives, not where the dealership is — so two Aurora neighbours on opposite sides of a county line can pay different amounts on the identical vehicle.

It follows you, not us

Buying in Naperville doesn't put you on a Naperville rate, and buying in Aurora wouldn't either. The rate comes from your own address, which is why shopping outside your town costs you nothing in tax terms.

Ask for it in writing

Any dealer should give you the full out-the-door figure with tax, title, licence and documentary fee itemised before you sign. If a number moves between the desk and the paperwork, that's worth stopping over.

Trade-in credit applies either way

Illinois reduces the taxable amount when you trade a vehicle in, whichever county you're in. Worth understanding before you negotiate. How the credit works.

We'll work out your figure from your address rather than quoting a rate that may not be yours. Rates change, so confirm the total with us or your tax adviser before you commit.

Why Here

Two things that aren't about distance

Sold only at participating Lincoln dealers, and the list changes. For a city of 180,000 with no Lincoln dealership of its own, we're the nearest place to see one. Black Label near Aurora.

From Where You Are

Landmark by landmark

Four common starting points, and the distance between the first and the last is most of the point of this page.

From Fox Valley Mall

Ogden Avenue east. Twelve minutes, five miles. If this is your end of Aurora, we are genuinely your local Lincoln dealer.

From the Paramount Theatre

East on New York Street, which becomes Ogden Avenue and carries you the whole way. Twenty minutes from the middle of downtown.

From the Transportation Center

Same run as downtown. If you are collecting a car after the BNSF train, allow twenty minutes and come out along New York Street.

From Phillips Park

Ogden Avenue east from the Smith Boulevard side. Slightly shorter than the downtown run and avoids the Route 59 junction.

Everything converges on Ogden Avenue, which is US-34 and runs through Aurora, Naperville and Lisle. We are at number 1564, on the south side, west of Naper Boulevard.

The Lineup

What you'd be coming to see

Navigator

The full-size flagship, seating up to eight. The widest trim and equipment spread in the range, which is exactly when having stock on the ground matters.

Aviator

Three rows, up to seven seats, twin-turbo V6. Rear-wheel drive is standard; all-wheel drive is the option worth taking west of the Fox River in January.

Nautilus

Two rows, five seats, and a hybrid across the lineup. The easiest of the three to live with if most of your driving is local.

Certified Pre-Owned

Manufacturer-backed and warranted through Lincoln rather than by us. Two tiers with very different coverage — worth understanding before comparing two certified cars on price.

Frequently Asked

Aurora questions

Is there a Lincoln dealer in Aurora, IL?

No. Despite being the second-largest city in Illinois, Aurora has no Lincoln dealership. Fair Oaks Lincoln is the nearest for most of the city — 1564 West Ogden Avenue in Naperville, on the same road that runs through Aurora. About five miles from the Route 59 corridor, about ten from downtown.

How far is Fair Oaks Lincoln from Aurora?

It depends which part. From the Route 59 and Fox Valley corridor, about five miles and twelve minutes east on Ogden Avenue. From downtown Aurora, about ten miles and twenty minutes via New York Street. From the Eola side, I-88 east is quickest.

Does Lincoln Pickup & Delivery cover Aurora?

It depends on the address. Our coverage area is much of DuPage County, and Aurora is mostly Kane — though the far east of the city crosses into DuPage. Two houses a few streets apart can get different answers. Call with yours and we'll tell you straight away, and if you're outside it, ask about mobile service.

Where can I buy a Lincoln Black Label near Aurora?

Black Label is sold only at participating Lincoln dealers, and participation isn't automatic. We're a participating dealer, which covers the curated interior themes and the Black Label ownership privileges. Worth confirming current status anywhere else you shop — the list changes.

Do I have to service my Lincoln where I bought it?

No. Lincoln warranty coverage and scheduled maintenance are honoured at any Lincoln dealer in the country, so buying here never commits you to servicing here. Plenty of Aurora clients do both here because the eastern half of the city is a short run.
